I bought this product when I moved in to dorms in college and used it to boil water for my coffee every morning. This little device heats up a small amount of water and can bring it to a boil. My only issues with this item is that you can't take your eyes off it since it can end up putting all the heat in one spot and the rest of the water doesn't boil and your cup/mug may not withstand too much heat on only one side. Also, after the water has boiled, don't take the heater out right away, unplug it, give it a few minutes, then remove it from the water or you risk damaging the heating coil.
This towel is great for travel since it dries super fast, even when I was in humid Costa Rica, it could dry within an hour or so, even when not hanging in sunlight. The XL size is worth the extra cost than the smaller sizes because it is the only one that is close to a normal towel size for you to cover yourself with, or to lie on the beach with.
