I (Robert at Jet-Setter) use this wallet when I travel and have yet to have someone make an attempt to steal it. I attach the chain to my one of my belt loops and the chain barely shows, just enough to let any pickpockets know it’s attached to me. I also attach my house key to the key ring to which the chain is attached, and the key holds nicely against the wallet with the elastic next to the ring.
