Great for hiking
Having this lanyard to allow your camera to hang from your neck while not in use would be very useful for those who like hiking. You camera would always be at the ready, but when you don't need it you'll have your hands free.
Perhaps not very practical for big cities though. Having a camera hang around your neck marks you as a tourist. Also, it puts you at ricks for drive-by thieves on motorbikes.
